Choroidal response to defocus - learning from the old

The PhD student will experience state-of-the-art training in vision research applying surgical techniques for choroidal autonomic pathway inactivation and lens treatment followed by choroidal response analysis (optical coherence tomography, tonometry), molecular biology (qRT-PCR, GWAS), and histology (confocal laser-scanning-microscopy).
